Les deux artistes explorent la variation sur un thème et les notions d’unicité et de copie. Leurs œuvres respectives gomment les frontières entre authenticité et imitation. L’original n’est qu’un épisode dans un processus de reproduction et de mutations infini.
Leurs travaux évoquent ainsi les rythmes transitoires de la vie.

EN: Marie Anne Truffino and Virgile Loiseau present a sensory promenade of images and sounds through La Chapelle de Boondael: monotypes on sculptural rails, monumental prints, oil paintings, a sound installation and a video. Both artists explore notions of variations on a theme, uniqueness and copying. Their respective works blur the boundaries between authenticity and imitation. The original is just one episode in an infinite process of reproduction and mutation. In this way, their works evoke the transitory rhythms of life.
